Product Description
- The chemical splash hood is well suited to provide protection to the head and face in environments of frequent chemical splash.
- Providing protection against many agents, the shell of the hood is manufactured of green nylon reinforced PVC material
- The full cut of the shell protects the head, face, and neck from accidental splash.
- It is designed to go over the shoulders to shed the splash off the shoulders.
- The shell is constructed with seams double stitched with cotton thread. The non-synthetic thread is needed to resist the glue, which is used to seal the seams inside and out.
- The window of the hood is Oberon’s Chemical Resistant Shield.
- It’s large 7” X 13” window will retain its visibility and integrity, even when splashed with most acids (except hydrofluoric acid), bases and solvents.
