Immersion Suits
As the oil exploration industry in the North
Sea kicked into high gear in the 70s, Helly Hansen developed its first
rescue survival suits for offshore workers. It was a natural evolution
for a company that had a deep understanding of what it means to work
in harsh conditions. For the past ten years, the Norwegian designed
E-352 Offshore/ transport Immersion suit
has been the choice of Offshore and gas workers, Search and Rescue
operators and Coast Guards worldwide.
The E-352 has since evolved into the E-452
to suit the Canadian market. The evolutionary one-piece design is
now equipped with an integrated life jacket, poly-urethane boots,
a fitted breathing system, a personal locator beacon and a removeable
liner. The suit is also dual-approved, ready to climb aboard a lifeboat
or take off in a helicopter.
